Bug: Getting started steps does not recognize 'Download Chrome Extension'

I had downloaded the chrome extension before I signed up for premium. Perhaps that is why the system does not recognize that I have not already downloaded it.
Existing behavior:
- click on the 'Download chrome extension' step
- Go to chrome store and note that the CTA is 'Remove from Chrome' b/c it is already installed
- Go back to simplify dashboard and note that the step never gets completed. There doesn't seem to way to clear it. Maybe if I remove and then re-install?
Expected behavior:
- click on the 'Download chrome extension' step
- Go to chrome store and note that the CTA is 'Remove from Chrome' b/c it is already installed
- Go back to simplify dashboard and have that onboarding step greyed out as completed
